Yo ho! The sea is deep, the rum is strong, and there's adventure to be had on the open waves. Feel the sun beat down as ye set sail on the ocean blue, searching fer lost loot. Kep yer eye out fer the navy and watch yer back for strange magic, lest ye visit Davy Jones' Locker! If it be the pirates' life fer ye, grab yer sword and raise anchor, else ye walk the plank.
14XX Golden Age is a stand-alone table-top RPG. The rules are short and easy to learn and the whole game can fit on a single sheet of paper. It can also be combined with the 1400 Lo-Fi Hi-Fantasy game series.
14XX Golden Age is a bit bigger than previous 1400 games, and includes the standard character and GM pages you're familiar with, along with an extra Ship and Crew section for players, and an additional GM section introducing the Silver Chain Archipelago with tables for expanding the island region.
The core system is based on the 24XX SRD by Jason Tocci.

Excited to dig into this! I'm curious, though - why is this one 14XX and not 1400?
Good question. Two reasons really; 1) I wanted this and another wip to be separate from the previous 1400 games so that I didn't feel beholden to making them completely compatible, and 2) so people didn't buy the collected 1400 zine/bundle then be disappointed this wasn't included.
